The class combines TRX Suspension Training, a revolutionary system that leverages your body weight to build strength, flexibility and balance, with ballet barre work, a graceful yet powerful discipline that works the core, legs, arms and glutes like no other.
TRX conditions the entire body safely and effectively while continuously activating the core muscles to build strength, stability and balance. The exercises can be adapted to any fitness and intensity level by adjusting angle of the body, which increases or decreases the load against gravity.
Utilizing exercises based on classic ballet positions, the ballet barre segment of the class aims to help students develop the technique, and the lean muscle body and look, of a ballet dancer. Ballet barre’s small, precise, yet powerfully effective movements help strengthen the core, lift the rear, and tone the thighs and arms.
